What is the load of importance in a young person's face?
Can they possibly see in all directions
as adults often believe they are capable of doing?
Do they hold any concern for the
peripheral world around them?
Or do they only repeat, or regurgitate, the sayings and/or moaning of
the oft-opined guardians of their young minds?
What is my job as a teacher?
Do I blandly let them dwell in their parents' ignorance?
Do I impose will and opinion of my own?
Or do I introduce the culture of thinking?
Do I beg them to listen only to their
personal perceptions and the personal
perceptions of others?
